Lakers equal franchise record for best season start & enjoy 10 game win-streak

The 2019/20 Los Angeles Lakers team have just equaled their team franchise record  for the best start to the season  with a convincing 125-103 victory over the Washington Wizards.

LeBron James contributed with 23 points and 11 assists, with Anthony Davis accounting for 26 points and 13 rebounds. The victory is the latest of what is a 10 game win-streak for the Lakers, extending the Lakers’ start to the season to 17-2, something the team last achieved back in the 2008-09 NBA Season.

The last time the Lakers had a double-digits unbeaten streak was back in the the 2009-10 season, and their November games win/loss record (14-1)  is their highest win total in a any single month since March 2000.
