Steph Curry Breaks NBA 3-Point Shooting Record

The Golden State Warriors´ two-time league MVP Steph Curry opened the 2019/20 NBA season with three consecutive games where he scored 30+ points, setting a new NBA record held by none other than himself.

In a Monday night game against Phoenix, any possibility of a 4 game streak was forgotten when Curry fell short of the mark, scoring 29 points.

Stephen Curry’s 22 three-pointers through the first four games of the season are a new NBA record for most threes through the first four games. Curry set the previous mark of 21 in 2015-16.

Stephen Curry and father Dell Curry´s new combined points total (27,226) moved them into second place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list for father-son combos, past Dolph and Danny Schayes, trailing only behind Kobe Bryant and Joe Bryant (38,895 points).
