At the 2023 French Open finals Novak Djokovic won a record 23rd Grand Slam, defeating Casper Ruud.
Aged 36 years and 20 days, Djokovic also set the record of being the oldest men’s champion at the clay Major, beating Rafael Nadal’s record set in 2022 by 18 days.
