Just one player in the history of the National Football league has started their career with 7 consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards.

Starting the game needing just 40 yards to clinch this record, Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans became that player in the first quarter of Sunday’s regular season finale (a 44-27 victory against the Atlanta Falcons, 3rd January 2021).

NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss is the only other receiver to begin his pro football career with 6 straight 1,000-yard seasons.
